Go Time Trip Opportunities

For 2024, our focus is on having compassion for others just as Jesus did. He not only had compassion for the physically needy, but also for the spiritually lost. We want to follow in his guidance to meet physical needs and meet spiritual needs so that we can bring people to have a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We know the dire circumstances that our world is in, but we also know that the harvest is plentiful. So we pray that you would accept Jesus’ invitation to be a fellow laborer and join in His mission as He brings people to Himself around the WORLD.

SOUTHEAST ASIA | Feb 8-20 & August

In September 2021, we sent out our own Hope missionaries to this work with the Khmer people. We will go for the purpose of encouraging them by going and serving alongside them and their teammates in a variety of ways such as evangelism, discipleship, and teaching leadership development. In 2023, Hope also hosted a soccer camp and worked with foster children. Rating: P2, S3

SOUTH ASIA – VILLAGES | March 15-22 & December 6-13

During this trip, our team will enter villages outside a South Asian mega-city in teams of 2 or 3, sharing the gospel and developing relationships. We will possibly participate in various trainings including women’s health training, mental health training, leadership training, and evangelism training. Rating: P3, S3

SOUTH ASIA – SCARA | Feb 29-March 12 & October

Hope Teams will be sent to join in the work of our partners in the South Asia SCARA segment to help increase the Gospel witness in the slums and red-light district of the city. We will join with our partners and local believers to share the Gospel in a specific strategic area. This trip will also involve prayer walking and the beginning stages of intentional discipleship. ITALY HLV | April 5-14 & September 18-29

On this trip we will be working with our partners doing evangelism among various people groups in refugee camps, encouraging church planters, prayer walking, various city outreach events, assisting local workers, providing humanitarian care, and generally supporting current efforts on the ground as needed. Rating: P2, S3

NORTH AFRICA | May

This team will be working alongside our partners in Northern Africa to penetrate lostness in a majority Muslim context, specifically the Wadi peoples. You will be prayer walking, assisting with an English language center, and helping seek out the hearts God has already started softening to respond to the Gospel. Rating: P2, S3

AMSTERDAM | June

This team will travel by bicycle from Utrecht to Rotterdam, to The Hague and back. They will be working and serving alongside church planters to assist in church outreaches at each stop. This trip will be an awesome opportunity to serve others and to experience what the Lord is doing to reach Netherlanders. Rating: P3, S2

THAILAND – STUDENTS | Late June – Early July

This student team will be working with the Mekong Evangelical Mission to host and facilitate a vacation bible school for the children that attend the local Christian school. This two-week mission trip will leave students forever changed! For students and student leaders only. Rating: P1, S1

TANZANIA | July 5-17

This Hope Go Time Team will be sent to work with our fun and lively missionary partners, Operation Mobilization-Tanzania. Our team will share the love of Jesus through evangelism, prayer, light construction, children’s ministry, and sports outreach. The goal is planting churches among these unreached villages that desperately need the Gospel. Rating: P3, S3

In this opportunity, we will work with a church plant in Comerio, Puerto Rico and be involved in light projects, engaging the community in Gospel conversation, encouraging our Hope Church planters, and hosting a block party or other event to engage the community. Rating: P1, S1

This Hope Go Time Team will serve an impoverished and largely non-Christian population in southern Philippines. The team will put on medical and dental camps to share the love of Christ in love and deed. This provides great opportunity to share the Gospel with those who need medical attention. Rating: P2, S2

Those wishing to serve overseas cross culturally for more than a month should reach out to the Cross-Cultural Mobilization team directly to initiate the process.
